Dr Seuss Kindergarten is a fully animated story with the Cat in the Hat and young Gerald McGrew. Gerald has built a new zoo (remember the book) and wants your help collecting some unique, marvelous and strange animals from around the world, for his new zoo.

You board the "McGrew Zoo Choo Choo Train" that takes you to 8 different possible destinations (you choose) where you find such fine finds as a Barbaloot, the song writing Zinn-a-Zu bird, and Star-bellied Sneetches, to mention a few.

You are presented with a wide range of activities in each area which when successfully completed, will allow you to collect one of these fine creatures.

When you go to the Lorax's Forest, you help some Babaloots by putting the correct number of furballs in their wheelbarrows. When you have the right number in the first two wheelbarrows, you then pick the right number to answer the addition question. (See middle right). And for your efforts you get to collect some fine Barballots for the zoo.

At the "Shapes-On Machine (see bottom right) you are called upon to help Sylvester McMonkey McBean complete a pattern involving shapes and colours to create a proper sequence. For your efforts, you can take to your zoo some excellent Star Bellied Sneeches. (This is a lot more fun than collecting stars). Of course, when you have collected all the animals, you are rewarded with seeing the grand opening of young Gerald Mcgrew's new zoo.

The program has three levels of challenge and in total provides over 250 interactive and fun learning based activities. Your travels are interspersed with songs from the Cat in the Hat and Gerald McGrew. The program has lots of hidden clickables and a variety of play activities such as the Musical Band where you can click on individual band members to hear a tune or play with the Clock Sculpture to learn about time.

There is nothing quite like Dr. Seuss. This program was my daughter's introduction to the world of Suess. We are now reading all the books. Colleen, mother of Nancy, age 5

" The really nice thing about this program is that both my children love the Seuss characters and the program has such a large range of different activities. They both have been playing with this program fairly regularly for over three months." Cathy, mother of Mark and David, ages 5 and 7

" We were asked to try out this program, specifically for my daughter who is 6. The first time we sat down with the program together, I thought I would just spend a few minutes with her and then let her go on her own. I was still with her an hour later." Sally, mother of Kathleen, age 6

Dr. Seuss Kindergarten is for pre school and beginning school age children. If your child is familiar with some of the Dr. Seuss books such as The Cat in the Hat or Green Eggs and Ham they will be interested in seeing more characters here. This program is self directed that makes it suitable for the young child who enjoys exploring around on their own.
