Starry Night Enthusiast
Starry Night Enthusiast is the next step up to Starry Night Complete Space and Astronomy Pack and is designed for the fairly knowledgeable astronomer. It is designed and operates in the same fashion - i.e virtually identical layout and navigation - to Starry Night CSAP, but has a much larger information base and some interesting additional guided tours.
With Starry Night Enthusiast there are many more cataloged visuals of objects in deep space and they have added all the satellite orbits around earth, and asteroid and comet orbits in our galaxy.
What we, as relatively neophyte astronomers, liked was the addition of guided tours/tracking of the the various space missions such as the 2 Voyager missions and the more recent Cassini/Huygens satellite put up by NASA that is on it's way to Saturn.
This program is more expensive than the Starry Night Complete Space and Astonomy Pack and would suggest that for most, the program that we profiled on the other page is an excellent value and is all you would ever need. If you really want the richer information database, that may be important in a teaching context for example, you may want to get Starry Night Enthusiast.
The design and quality of both programs is excellent. The system requirements for this program are the same as Starry Night CSAP.
