Jason Stewart.

Jason has spent over 10 years studying and applying psychological, behavioral and linguistic models and their application methods to assist individuals achieve meaningful change in their desired performance capabilities. For over 8 years he has been instructing individuals in these models and their practical application in both individual and group training situations. He has practical and valuable insights into how the human mind processes information and its application to both traditional and nontraditional learning environments.

He has studied the learning process for both children and adults and can identify how learning tools and mechanisms can either help or hinder the learning experience, specific to every individual's unique and unconscious strategies of learning. He is excited about the potential that educational software provides. Jason believes that software can provide a venue where the student can not only learn the related content but learn how to learn as well. The thought of people being able to learn how to learn from nontraditional means is an exciting area of personal performance capability.

Jason’s main focus has been the behavioral side of the learning process. One of his major interests - modeling and skill transfer - which is observing people who are exceptionally skilled in an activity and noticing what specifically they are doing when they are exercising this skill and noticing how specifically they do it. If you can identify and understand the details of an individual's strategies, these skills can often be taught and transferred to another. An example is reading. One of the things that excellent readers all have in common is the ability to take the point of view of another person. If they are reading fiction they can take the points of view of the characters. Excellent readers not only read the words and digest them but they also take a "ride" in their minds, a sort of roller coaster for the senses. They jump around from character to character as if they are part of the story. This skill for example can be taught.

His business expertise has included working with change consultants world wide, including consulting experts in Culture Shaping, Business Visioning and Process Re-engineering. His business and education training has come from a diverse group of professionals all over the world and has experiences with some of the best consultants and educators throughout Australia, Europe, the US and Canada.

Jason has incorporated lessons learned from the training world as well as the business world to provide valuable insight into the world of educational software.
